The second Blue Beetle was a man named Ted Kord who had no superpowers at all, he just carried out the legacy of the Blue Beetle with wits, fists and a lot of cool gadgets.

The most recent Blue Beetle is Jamie Reyes, a teenager from El Paso. He was united with the Scarab from the first Blue Beetle and the artifact gave him alien armor.
